I plan on getting a tree stand for my hunting trips

Is the title of this article, a topic of concern for you? Yes? Well, it’s a very common query for all the new and old hunters out there.  But you don’t have to worry because you have landed in the right place now, and all your queries will vanish by the end of this post.

So the very first thing,

Handmade or Ready-made?

The positive side of a hand made stand is that,  you are absolutely free to decide the design and the type of material you want to combine. In ready-made stands, the material and design are set on default for large scale production, due to which, you may get the desired construction but the material used may not be of your interest and vice versa.

Moreover, since a handmade stand will be ‘HAND-made’ , the probability of a perfect construction will be less, and the errors may cost you majorly later. The readymade stands, on the other hand, are built by high-tech robotic machinery, under the expert supervision, making them more reliable and the chances of error minimal.

The Type

Whether you opt for a handmade or readymade, the type of the tree stand is necessary to decide. The type of the tree-stand you select, should be based on the weight that you prefer. These are  the different tree stand types and their features.

Climbing tree stand :- These stands work well with straight trunks and minimal branching. They are light weight hence easy to carry, but not so stable due to the same reason.

Ladder stands :- They are heavier and hence very stable to provide absolute precision but are not easily movable. They have strong ladders to climb, which provides additional support to the platform, along with the belt straps, making them safest of all.

Hanging stands :- Also known as hang-on  stands, are the ones which are most flexible, easy to carry and easy to assemble. They can be used on almost all kind of trees. Stability can be a matter here, but it may not bother your precision once you get familiar with it.

Apart from these, look for the stands with substantial safety measures such as safety harness and strong cable belts.

Keeping the above factors in mind, it will be no more difficult now,  to find a perfect tree stand for your hunting trips. See you again !!

My best hunting trip this year

Being adventurous by nature I never limit myself as an armchair traveler. I often roam around the world and explore the diversity offered by nature. I easily get tired of enjoying sophisticated vacations to locations advertised in the glossy pages of magazines. I often choose trekking and hiking over spending days at similar looking hotels and beaches. For last two years, I have been immensely enjoying hunting trips. This year, I had two hunting trips. One at South Africa, which had so many exciting, adventurous and spine chilling moments, while the other one was the Whitetail Deer hunting in the Canadian wilds. The latter one is the best hunting trip this year, that also qualifies to be the best one for many years to come.

Whitetail deer chasing has been considered as an exceptionally well-known game nowadays. It is not a fad, but a game that has been followed with local traditions. The whitetail deer is a medium yet alluring animal, found essentially in the wilds of Canada, Mexican, Peru and the US mainland. This delightful animal has an undeniable attraction due to its quickness and cunning ways, that makes this game more thrilling and mystifying. Whitetail deer is known as the pride of Canadian wilds. It can be found in different parts of Canada, but my destination was the most beautiful hunting place, Saskatchewan. Being highly populated with Whitetail deer, the hunting is legitimate here.

I still remember that it was a quick decision to be a part of this expedition. So, I consider myself fortunate for this trip – it came to me by chance and ended up as one of the best expeditions of my life. Me, with my friend and partner for hunting, George took the challenge of spotting and hunting the alluring whitetail deer. Geared up with the sniper hunting rifles and other equipment, we started our journey with our guide. We were profoundly intrigued by white tail deer chasing, and we were utterly delighted while searching in the wilds.

So, how was my hunting experience? While making an outline for this chasing trip, we were excessively energized. We had a wide choice of big game, for example, moose, deer and mountain bear, etc. A little diversion, for example, ducks and waterfowl additionally exist. I am exceptionally happy that in this hunting trip I have done some excellent hunting.

First two days were a waste if you are thinking about Whitetail Deer. But, yes I successfully chased a few ducks, which we enjoyed in dinner while camping for the night in the wilds. Our patience paid us on the third day. We finally located a young mid-sized Whitetail Deer. Though it was quite smart in moves and kept us on toes for nearly two hours but, we hunted it down when it got tired running in the thick vegetation of Canadian woods.
Though I am not an enthusiast hunter, being concerned about protecting animal life and balance of ecology, but I must admit that this trip was far enjoyable than I imagined. The rush of adrenaline while chasing a swift and beautiful animal like a Whitetail Deer, can be only experienced not described in words.

When purchasing a recurve bow, I strongly recommend that you consider these kinds first. Once you are through answering, your choices will narrow down to the brands that best fit your needs.

You can have consistent draws without the fear of vibration and it is resistant to all kinds of rough conditions and weather. The string has also been considered one of the highest qualities among recurve bows. This particular bow virtually has no stocking. The technology used has been derived from Hoyt’s Olympic bows which will ensure that your money is certainly worth for this kind of bow. Despite rather expensive price, the bow is a high-quality surely worth your money. It can be used for all archers with different levels of experience, but it is strongly recommended to be used by adult males.
